Angela Healy - Director

Hello! my name is Angela Healy and I'm the director at Mustard Seed Preschool. Besides leaving for college I have lived in the Beaverton community my entire life. In fact, I attended Mustard Seed when I was four and five years old! It is such an honor to be back in this capacity. I graduated from University of Oregon with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood and have been in the field for over 12 years working in both child care settings and within the community.

I have a son who is seven and a daughter who is five. My daughter is currently attending MSP and loving it! My son is thriving in first grade after spending two years at MSP. Having my children and working with the children at the preschool is so much fun for me. I love watching the children thrive, learn, grow, and experiencing their excitement as they master something new! When I'm not at school,  my husband, children, and I  enjoy being out in nature, traveling, and spending time with our two dogs.

Kristin Podelnyk - Assistant Director, Teacher

I have been working in the field of education for the last 8 years, and am so happy to be back in the world of preschool after spending some time with elementary students!  I love helping children with their social emotional development, and fostering the love of learning and new discoveries in my students during the most formative years of their education.  I have a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University with endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Human Services.  My husband, two daughters and I live in the Rock Creek community and love spending time traveling and exploring new places!

Audra Hirr - Teacher

I have taught Pre-K for 9 years. It is truly a great age to work with as a preschool teacher. I love to see children build upon their skills in an environment that helps them develop their social-emotional skills, cognitive, and language through play and discovery. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Family Studies. My husband Otto and I live in Beaverton and enjoy gardening, woodworking, and hosting neighborhood events.
